Sprinx CTI Client hardware and software requirements |
|

There are no hardware requirements beyond those required by the operating system. Software requirements vary by edition in Sprinx CTI Client version 2.0. The requirements are equal for all editions of versions higher than version 2.0.
Requirements for all editions
Required components:
- Hardware or software phone exchange or phone equipment supporting TAPI 3.
- You can receive information on the TAPI 3 support from the manufacturer of software phone exchange or phone equipment.
- Microsoft Telephony Server with TAPI 3 support which is a part of server operating systems. To get further information on Telephony server on various server operating systems, please visit the Microsoft web site.
- Exchange or phone equipment driver (TSP, telephony service provider). The driver is required for communication between Microsoft telephony server and the phone exchange or phone equipment. The driver should be supplied by the manufacturer of your phone exchange or phone equipment.
- TCP/IP connectivity between Sprinx CTI Client and Microsoft Telephony Server.
- Connectivity between Microsoft Telephony Server and the phone exchange or phone equipment
Requirements on the client computer with Sprinx CTI Client installed:
- Operating system: Windows 2000 Professional and higher with the latest service pack and updates installed.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – a part of the Sprinx CTI Client installation package.
- The computer needs to be in the same domain as the other system components.
- The user needs to have a domain account with rights to the phone line in the Telephony Server.
- There are no hardware requirements beyond those required by the operating system.
Further requirements for Sprinx CTI Client for Sprinx CRM
- The user needs a domain account with rights to the Sprinx CRM database on the SQL server and the Sprinx CRM.
- Connectivity between Sprinx CTI Client, the Sprinx CRM web server and the SQL Server hosting the Sprinx CRM database.
Further requirements for Sprinx CTI Client for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- The user needs a domain account with rights to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM database on the SQL server and the Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Connectivity between Sprinx CTI Client the Microsoft Dynamics CRM web server and the SQL Server hosting the Microsoft Dynamics CRM database.
